美国惠而浦公司

美国惠而浦公司于一九一一年成立,总部设在美国的密歇根州。1991年,美国惠而浦宣布全面收购飞利浦大型家用电器系列 从而成为全球最具规模的大型白色家电制造商,为家用电器制造业树立新的里程碑。

惠而浦如今业务范围已遍及全球120多个国家,在欧洲及美国拥有三十多家厂房,全球员工人数超过四万人。为了更妥善地运用其庞大资源,惠而浦发展了世界优质系统(Worldwide Excellence惠而浦公司,1911年成立于美国密歇根州奔腾港,现 已是全球System)以承诺为原动力,不断改善品质与服务,及超越客户期望,为品质管理带来新突破。正由于惠而浦在市场上具领导地位,加上近九十年来树立的品质可靠信誉,美国太空总署亦选择惠而浦为他们设计首个太空实验室的厨房。如今,惠而浦更致力发展亚洲市场。

1995年5月,惠而浦和上海水仙电器股份有限公司合作,成立了上海惠而浦水仙有限公司,并于96年3月正式投产。公司总投资额为7500万美金,首期与二期已投资5500万美金。其中美方出资55%,1998年, 惠而浦追加投资成功,新的投资比例为 美方80%。上海惠而浦从日本,美国,意大利,新西兰等国家引进了约2500万美金的生产设备与工装购置,使惠而浦水仙的设备配置水平达到国际先进水平。为高新技术产品的开发和完善,公司建立了设备完善的测试实验室,机械实验室,电子实验室。从1999年12月31日起,上海惠而浦把惠而浦集团在中国的另一个投资项目-惠而浦顺德微波炉的销售,市场,售后服务,人事,财务等部门并入上海公司统一管理。继中国2001年加入WTO之后,惠而浦美国总部更是重视中国的发展,与2002年7月正式收购了上海惠而浦原中方的所有股份,使其成为完全由外方控股的独资公司,同时,公司于2002年12月正式更名为上海惠而浦家用电器有限公司。

1911: Upton Machine Co. founded in St. Joseph, Michigan, to produce motor-driven wringer washers 尤浦顿机器公司 (Upton 机器公司) 在美国密西根州的圣约瑟夫成立,生产电动洗衣机。

Whirlpool Receives 2005 American Business Ethics Award

The awards are presented in three categories: large companies (over 2,500 employees), midsize companies (250 - 2,500 employees), and small companies (under 250 employees).  Whirlpool received the award in the large company category; Paetec Communications, Inc., received the award for the midsize company; and Schloegel Design Remodel, Inc., received the small company award.
