This USA Triathlon sanctioned race features both Short(S-750M, B-14.2M, R-5K) and Intermediate (S-1.5K, B-40K, R-10K) distance races. Athletes begin the race with a brisk swim in the beautiful Cayuga Lake, then bicycle the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes and finish with a run through the scenic gorge trail to the waterfalls (one of the highest falls east of the Rockies)! Southern Tier AIDS Program in Ithaca, NY, is having our annual AIDS RIDE For Life. The AIDS Ride is a 100-mile bicycle ride around Cayuga Lake (there is also a 50 and 85 mile option) to raise regional awareness and money for vital HIV prevention services in and around Tompkins and Cortland counties.
