Animal Critical Care and Emergency Services is a 24hr/ 7 day a week, fast paced, veterinary emergency and critical care state of the art facility with multiple specialties (emergency, critical care, blood bank, internal medicine, radiology). We are seeking a motivated, fun, and self-thinking individual with abilities in Human Resources and Inventory Management. Essential Job Functions: - Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory counts of hospital and office supplies.
- Receive all shipments, log information into computer, and use information to guarantee accurate pricing.
- Help evaluate inventory use and turns to make recommendations about hospital supply.
- Assist the Office Manager in receiving, entering, sorting, and filing received bills.
- Make new employee information packets and make sure new employees are oriented to paperwork issues, health insurance, dental insurance and 401(K).
- Keep track of employee benefits such as vacation time, sick time, and continuing education days as well as eligibility for health/dental insurance and 401(K).
- Set up appointments for new hires and make reference phone calls.
- Assist with staff meetings - copies, keeping track of birthdays, other important staff event planning.
- Help with collection issues
- Other duties as assigned by the office manager.
Qualifications: - Previous inventory control experience a plus.
- Associate level degree in business or equivalent level experience.
- Willingness to work as a team player and communicate clearly with all levels of staff.
Job is a salaried position and work hours would be normal business hours with occasional staff meeting occurring after hours to accommodate the 24 hr nature of the business. Benefits include health and dental, continuing education, professional dues, 401(K), vacation and sick days. |
