Responsibilities: The incumbent will function as a benefits specialist performing analytical tasks in health and welfare benefits for union and non-union employees. Responsibilities include evaluating benefit programs, preparing cost forecasts, managing relationships with various carriers, clarifying and resolving problematic issues. The incumbent will utilize PeopleSoft to manage benefit programs.

Exper. & Educ.: Associate Staff Analyst 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with a major in one or more of the following: Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, Accounting, Operations Research, Economics, Business or Public Administration or a related field and three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience; or 2. A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience. Staff Analyst I 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two (2) years of full-time experience working with a large public or private concern in payroll, financial systems, timekeeping, audit or a related area, or a satisfactory equivalent. Staff Analyst II requires an additional year of experience. All candidates must possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.

Desired Skills: Candidate must be well versed in the objectives, design, costing, implementation and administration of health and welfare plans, deferred compensation, FSA, COBRA, etc. Must have a working knowledge of benefit regulations governing health plans. Ability to create queries, ad-hoc reports and design automated processes using PeopleSoft. Strong interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be detail and deadline oriented.

Job Title : Manager Corporate Labor Relations

The position responsibilities include the following:

§ Design, develop and integrate change strategies for labor relations
§ Research, develop and propose bargaining strategies and alternatives
§ Assist in negotiations process for National and Local Agreements
§ Advise and counsel plant management in all aspects of labor relations, including union avoidance, labor and employment law
§ Administer the provisions of the collective bargaining agreements
§ Assist in the administratiion of the Labor Relations functions
§ Build and maintain effective relationships with national and local union officials
§ Coordinate the activities involved in the resolving grievances at higher levels of the grievance procedure
§ Conduct Labor Relations training for the corporation and plants as necessary
§ Travel 10-20%

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resources and Labor Relations. You will have a Bachelors degree or Masters Degree (preferred). You will also have a high level of analytical ability as well as excellent oral and written communication skills; decisive, strong decision making skills, with the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly; training in computer applications, a high level of interpersonal skills; and the ability to plan and organize effectively.
