The incumbent will collaboratively work with business leaders to link human resources products and services to the business strategies. We have an opportunity for an Human Resources File Clerk To assist in the Human Resources and Payroll Departments with various clerical duties specifically related to the preparation, maintenance, storage and retrieval from storage active and terminated personnel files and payroll reports, as well as the sorting and distribution of payroll checks/advices. This job is composed of a variety of tasks repeated numerous times during the course of a day such as establishing files, sorting and distributing mail and copying documents as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open, date stamp and distribute department mail to appropriate person.
- Set-up and maintain new hire, active and terminated associate files and/or payroll report files.
- Maintain a stock of file folders, envelopes, and office supplies, re-ordering when necessary.
- Respond to Subpoenas, verifications of employment and requests for personnel files and/or payroll records/reports, always maintaining confidentiality and ensuring that only authorized personnel view the information upon request.
- Sort forms, stuff envelopes, and distribute HR and payroll reports, payroll checks and forms on a bi-weekly basis, and as needed.
- Prepare files for storage; retrieve records from storage. Maintain and update storage database.
- Run pre-set queries as requested by supervisor.
- Assist with the data entry of new hire packets into the system as necessary.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred,
- An understanding of the English alphabet and the ability to maintain numeric and alphabetic filing systems is required.
- Six months of related clerical experience is preferred.
- Organizational skills are a must and previous experience using a personal computer for data entry and Windows based electronic mail is preferred.
- As the nature of the job involves exposure to personal and salary information, applicant must be able to maintain confidentiality.

The Director of Human Resources Technology will act as the liaison between the various Human Resources Departments and the Corporate Information Systems Department. This individual will represent the Human Resources Department regarding systems issues that affect the various business practices of each property. This person will also be responsible for developing, analyzing, recommending, and implementing changes and improvements in work processes and systems within the Human Resources Departments. Duties will also include managing any future development of HRIS applications, including needs analysis, project planning, requirements specification, vendor selection, testing, training support and implementation.
Must have working knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with various software programs to include, ATS, PVN, S2K, FileNet, Information Station, Online Benefits Enrollment, HR Council Website, and Timeworks. Must also have working knowledge of EEO, Turnover/Layoff, and DOL Audit reporting.Should have the ability to design and implement computer based programs, prepare technical reports and make presentations. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and verbally communicate in English with management, employees, and guests in person and over the telephone. Strong organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.
