me: particle physics, specially lattice QCD.
v Why not study in China?
me: Because my research field is rather new... (interrupted)
v particle physics is new ??? (看来vo还有点常识)
me: particle physics is a very conventional research field, but lattice QCD has
just been developed for 15 years.... (interrupted)
v 15 years ?
me: yes, and mainly in USA. This is the lattest research result in this field.

v Oh, I'm not a physicsist, why do you talk this with me?
Did you reply any other country?
me: no
v Why not?
me: blabla....
v Any other university did you apply?
me: sure, blabla....
v Why pick up Cornell?
me: Because the leader of this field is in Cornell...(interrupted)
v any application of your research?
me: sure. It's a very powerful calculation method....blabla.....
v give me your transcripts and resume
拿过我的成绩单和resume，直接一钉，看也不看，我感觉要被check了
any paper?
me: Yes, here is a copy.
v can I keep it?
me: sure.

me: Cornell Physics faxed a letter to you. Have you read it?
v No, I don't need it.
(过了一会儿) Sir, you're qualified for the visa. But your file need to be
sent to Washiton....... We will call you in a month.
