Job Description

To provide full support to HR Manager, in Houston, TX Industrial Organization Facility. Provide day to day administration with regard to all Human Resources issues. Administer policies and procedures which accomplish the location’s strategic and operational plans, and that conform to applicable Corporate and legal requirements.

Human Resources Generalist experience in multi-site plant and office environments, with specific assignments in employment, labor relations and compensation required.

A minimum of 5 years of broad knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices. This position requires knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, labor laws and regulations. Relocation assistance available

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Assistant抯 primary function is to provide administrative support to the Employee Services Team. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry, answering the EST phone line, coordinating various processes, auditing invoices, and handling education reimbursements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Inputs data into PeopleSoft including commissions, bonuses, and address changes

*Files personnel data

*Acts as on-boarding liaison to new hires

*Responds to inquiries from the EST phone line and e-mail

*Facilitates 90-day check-up process with managers

*Prepares involuntary and voluntary separation paperwork packages as requested

*Tracks education reimbursements

*Handles all background checks

*Tracks and processes relocation invoices

*All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

*Organized, with good time/management skills

*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

*Great attention to detail

*Enthusiastic and energetic with a commitment to quality

*Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment; enjoys challenges

*Possesses good teaming skills

*Good interpersonal / communication skills

*Gracious, respectful, helpful and professional

*Bachelors Degree preferred
